I cried. But the were happy tears. We handed over the keys of our little brick and mortar home to new tenants this morning. Up until this point it's been utter chaos packing up our life and getting the house ready to rent. And even though we've been living in the van on our carport for 4 weeks now, it only became real 20m down the road after pulling out of our driveway for the last time. I had the biggest smile on my face watching E tow our new home on wheels. And then I lost my sh!t. Thanks peri-meno and mum hormones!!! 7 more weeks until we're off...but if E gets his way, it could be sooner! #vanlife #lapofaustralia

Officially 2 weeks living our new van life...in our driveway 🤣 Waiting on tenants, then we'll transfer to a van park. I thought moving from a house to a tiny tin box with a giant human, crazy 5yo and a doggo was going to be difficult. But we've all wholeheartedly embraced it. And whilst navigating the small space has sometimes been challenging, I have zero regrets. I'm actually loving that we have bugger all possessions and there's so much less to clean! This year has seen the biggest changes in our life - sale of our 10+yo business, moving out of a house to live full time in a caravan, and for me re-entering the workforce after 5 years of being my own boss. But it's been the best and easiest things we've ever done - we were so ready for this new chapter! 2 months until we start our travels 🥳 Blessed to be living out a dream. But at the same time, we've worked so damn hard and deserve it!

It felt like this day was never going to arrive.
