A few frames from The Damned. We lit this film primarily with available light - using candles and oil lamps during the night, so huge thanks to @vantagefilmofficial for their unique T1 lenses that helped transport us into the 19th century. The visuals (and sound) were designed and tested specifically for theatres so if you can catch it on silver you're in for a treat.
The Damned is out in US cinemas today! Such a special adventure to be trapped in the middle of snowy nowhere with the loveliest cast and crew. oh the stories and laughs... Skál!

And they do not do it with war, they do it with words.” These are the words of Vigdís Finnbogadóttir, the first female president ever elected. Excited to announce my next project VIGDÍS - this series tells the personal story of a woman who pushed all boundaries and changed the zeitgeist of what was expected in leaders. Beginning in the 50s and carried through the rise of second wave feminism, her story is one that has paved the way for many, although it is seldomly told outside of Iceland. I hope you will be as inspired as I am from her story. These frames are from the first chapter where Vigdís is played by Elín Hall, whereas the second chapter of the series she is played by Nina Dögg. The first episode will be aired in Iceland on January 1st and I will share world release details as they come.
Some frames from The Watchers - now available in 4K HDR on HBO Max. If you didn’t catch it in theatres this is the next best thing - so happy to work with such a visual director in @ishy_night who lead a great team to help create these.
