Working with Hugo always feels instinctive, we share a similar musical DNA and a love for the deeper side of house that first made us fall in love with electronic music. There was a lot of reminiscing about the records we grew up on, those warm, hypnotic deep house tracks that felt emotional without trying too hard.
The process was very fluid. We weren’t chasing trends or over-structuring anything, it was about groove and restraint. Everything builds quietly, almost subconsciously, and that’s very intentional. Its a nod to where we came from, but with the perspective we have now. We hope you like it!! E&F xx
