Meeting beautiful humans like
@anayka_fox is one of my favorite parts of events like
@themakeupshow NYC 2026. 🥹✨
Anayka stopped by
@gleam_melaniemillshollywood @melaniemillsmua booth while chatting with Diana, and the second Carla came to mind, I just knew I had to say something. 🙌🏻🤍
Even though my teammate
@hairbycarlahernandez wasn’t physically in NYC with me, I didn’t want her to miss this moment. Carla has such a beautiful mission behind the chair — creating a safe, welcoming space for EVERYONE, especially for the Hispanic community, to feel seen, celebrated, and comfortable walking into a luxury salon space like Salon Blaq. 🤍✨
So I introduced myself, shared a little about Carla, and asked if Anayka would take a quick photo for her…
…and then the Universe sprinkled a little extra magic. 🥹🫶🏻
Not only did she say yes — she recorded the SWEETEST video message telling Carla to get ready because new music is dropping soon!!! 🎶🔥
AND before anybody comes for the captions not being perfectly on beat… 😂🙈
Those are ACTUAL lyrics from the song Anayka sang LIVE for us!!! 🔥🎤
🎶 “Rica y Apretadita” by
@elgeneralpty (1991)
The energy in that moment was EVERYTHINGGGGG. 😭🫶🏻
The kindness. The support. The genuine excitement. THAT is what this industry is about. Humans supporting humans. Art supporting art. Community supporting community. 🙌🏻✨
Thank you so much, Anayka, for taking the time to connect, share your light, and create such a special moment for someone all the way back home in Idaho. You officially have fans for life over here. 🫶🏻✨
Cannot WAIT to hear the new tracks drop!!! 🔥🎶
