Our dancers showed up, trained hard, and embraced the culture – building confidence, skills, and memories that will last a lifetime.

We celebrate the breathtaking moment, the team that learnt through doing and the ambition to deliver a new pathway for Hop Hip Culture for the Northwest and beyond. Bringing the gap between early years engaging in hip hop to professionals making and competing/exchanging.

Day 1 of 2 in Rotherham – learning and sharing.
Elevate Young Minds took part in an exchange of best practice as part of the Children’s Capital of Culture Youth Employment Study Group.
Last year, through Face Festival, we shared our best practice on the intersection of arts, enterprise, and leadership mindset/skills to support creative youth development and freelancers sustainablity
Today, we learned from @spiltmilkdance Dance and @mortalfoolsuk Fools. The session felt genuinely generous; best practice is often treated as top secret, so this openness was both refreshing and impactful.
It’s been a pleasure to be alongside Northern arts organisations creating meaningful change for children and young people, and the Children’s Capital of Culture team embedded within Rotherham Council.
