Saltbox cabin. More info, photos, build video, and plans on the site. If that’s your thing. “Jeff, didn’t you post these pictures before?” Yes. Twice. Doing it again so I can pin a specific photo to the top of this grid and because I forgot a photo. Your tax dollars at work. I’ll tidy things up later.

Good light. Ideal perspective. The closest this cabin ever looked to what I had in my head. It’s hard to make shit.

A mini-doc book trailer I made for the Kickstarter to our upcoming book about our property and projects. Link in the bio. Follow, like, subscribe, smash that buy button, tell yer friends. This ~5-minute video starts on our very first day on the land and traces moments through the next ten years of beauty and growth, destruction, and re-exploration.

Molly and I will be trying out an artist residency program at our property this spring. Two weeks with the place to yourself to create something special. This is a little tour video I took this past weekend. Lay of the land, so to speak. Currently accepting applications. More info on the website and my recent Substack post. Link in the bio. And please share this with anyone you think may be interested.

Reclad the exterior of our inherited backyard sauna with old growth redwood siding, milled from a salvaged water tank. Made a door from the same material. Tried to keep the mods pretty minimal— otherwise it could turn into a *much* bigger project. Replaced a bit of framing and sheathing and reinforced what we could before hanging a fresh exterior with a few extra touches. @tombonamici came down to lend a hand. #sauna #diy
