This past weekend was the “Nostalgia” art show at @strangebeastbeer featuring 40 local artists (including me) who all created #Art on “Street Signs.”
“I am Home”
Oil paint, spray paint, oil paint markers & gold leaf on a “No Stopping or Standing” street sign.
The little girl in my painting was inspired by a protest march image taken in Paris, France.
Her little face was so captivating & really shows the pure sadness children throughout the world are bearing. Without saying any words, you can feel what they are carrying.

The first thing that came to mind when I was given this street sign was the road to success. I’m on that journey. Along the way, I realized the biggest thing standing in my way was me. I had to get out of my own way and trust God knowing I’m heading in the right direction.
