Moving underway and while we likely won’t be ready for Friday, we’re on track to be open on Saturday!
We have moved a few buildings up to where @kevinwhitewinery used to be. We were huge fans of the work Kevin and @colin.patrick did, such classy wines and you knew each release would be stellar. Kevin has been incredibly supportive and helpful with this transition, we cannot thank him enough and hope to do the space justice. Last night we completed the day with his blue label.

We’ve been a little quiet on social media because we are busily preparing to move into our new space! Production, tasting room, and storage all under one roof 🥂
These photos are just a few shots from when we first moved in to our current tasting room as well as a few special events and memories from the last three years. Thank you to everyone that visited us here. We were very lucky to be right next to @twovintners@covingtoncellarswa and just around the corner from @pomumcellars@lobohills and Stevens winery. Our neighbors became a big part of each weekend, your referrals meant the world to us.
We will be moving to just a few buildings up the hill in the same complex, with @sightglasscellars@damselcellars@descendantcellars@callancellars@tollbridgebrewing@pacificdistillery . So still very nearby!
More to come soon as next week we will start the moving process and hope to be back as soon as possible. In the meantime, please visit us this weekend in our current location!

We rarely post regarding political matters, and typically voice in-person or perhaps even assume as a multi-ethnic couple from different countries our stance would be clear. Reading messages and posts from our colleagues inspired me to be brave.
I sponsored my husband to move here. The process of sponsoring is expensive, time-consuming, complicated, and often intimidating. It took over a year and half after we were married for paperwork to clear and for Chris to move permanently, and the process continues. My family was lucky to move here and become citizens before I was born, and I know how lucky I was to be able to sponsor Chris. No one should underestimate how hard it is to move to a new country.
The photos above are from the last time we were out in the vineyard harvesting with a crew. The people worked tirelessly and as fast as we tried to be, they were always faster. Their work ethic and sense of community are values I see in my family and what I know Chris and I share as well.

Tuesday, 2/10, we will be visiting @surrellseattle for their Cork and Culture evening. We’ve been extremely lucky over the years to visit this restaurant for a variety of events. From dinners to multi-winery tasting events, Chef @aarontekulve (recent @beardfoundation nominee!), Wine Director @noquarter815 , and the whole team make each visit fun and memorable.
This will be an evening designed to encourage conversations about wine with a few of our bubbles, charcuterie, and seafood bites as only Surrell can do.
