A closer look at the original design behind the handle and inhalation pump.
Developed to balance ergonomics, usability, and manufacturing efficiency into one cohesive solution.
Design for people, not just users.

Small design decisions can have a huge impact in healthcare.
We helped develop this pediatric inhalation mask system for across two age groups: 0–1 years and 1–4 years.
Testing showed leakage rates as low as 1.3–2.2%, while some conventional systems exceeded 35–95%.
The softer mask geometry and improved seal performance helped create more consistent drug delivery, while making treatment feel less intimidating for children and caregivers.
A small sneak peek of a case study we’re currently wrapping up.
Design for people, not just users.

Showing more behind the scenes and studio over the next few weeks. Here's Dan, the founder of element studio reviewing some early stage prototypes.

The process is often the bit no one sees, but it’s where everything is actually figured out. It’s not just sketch to final, it’s constant testing of form, function, fit, and purpose. Things get pushed, pulled apart, reworked, sometimes completely reset.
This is where brand and differentiation start to take shape properly, not just visually but in how the product feels and behaves. Ergonomics plays into that just as much as aesthetics. It all has to come together as one thing, not separate layers.
It takes time to get there, but that’s the point. The work in the background is what makes the outcome feel simple.
More to come.

CMF for Dune.
Neutral at its core, taking influence from nature, but grounded in a sense of modern warmth.
Soft, desaturated tones.
Subtle contrast.
Materials that feel honest and familiar.
Nothing overworked. Nothing excessive.
Just a balanced palette that lets the form speak.

Dune is carved by time, shaped by movement, a reflection of nature’s quiet evolution.
Inspired by shifting sand and wind, it embraces calm, restraint, and permanence.
Less about marking time, more about expressing it through form, material, and feeling.
Grounded. Elemental. Built to last.

Inside, a mycelium structure, grown, not manufactured.
Earthy. Raw. Natural.
A material that feels alive.
Unrepeatable. Imperfect in the right way.
It needed to belong to the watch,
in tone, in texture, in story.
Not inserted. Integrated.
Minimal. Tactile. Intentional.
No unnecessary layers.
Just material, structure, and purpose, working as one.
More to come.

Not every product starts with a brief.
Some start as studio experiments.
We’re currently wrapping up a new case study from Element Labs, our internal playground for exploring new ideas.
A few people have already suggested this one might deserve a Kickstarter campaign.
And yes… if you haven’t guessed already, it’s a watch.
More details will be shared over the next month as our new Element Studio website launches.
