「丸太から生まれたものたち」と題した小さなエキシビジョンを開催致します。
FIRE MOLDINGとその木型である丸太を再利用した作品、丸太と炎から着想を得たリソグラフの作品などを展示販売いたします。
ぜひ足を運んでみて下さい。
FIRE MOLDING
北欧の寒い地方の暮らしの知恵である丸太のストーブ「SWEDISH TORCH」に着想を得て、火が燃え切った後の丸太に残る痕跡を、吹きガラスの木型として利用したものです。
火がつくりだす有機的なフォルムは、その背後にひそむ自然現象の存在を物質化させたものでもあります。
elements 01 FIRE
人類は、火を使い、寄り添うことで、数十万年の進化を遂げてきました。また、火を扱う技術も、文明の進化と同時に高度になっていきました。 しかし、現代の我々1人1人と火との距離は、急速に開いて行っているように思います。 elements 01では、我々人類がこれまで「火」とどのように付き合ってきたかを解剖し、それを知ることで今の生活に何をもたらすことができるのかを考察してみました。

elementsの3つ目のテーマ「CLIMATE 気候／風土」。
第2回目となる展覧会を開催しました。
気候が生み出した諸条件と、それに適応しながら築かれてきた人間の営みをリサーチし、知恵の保存とアップデートを探る「CLIMATE 気候／風土」は、数年にわたって継続的に展開しているプロジェクトです。
今回は「03 CLIMATE Part Ⅱ ー風景のはじまりー」と題し、第1回目のリサーチ内容を基盤としつつ、メンバー3人がそれぞれの感性からテーマに向き合い、編み直し、再構築した断片を展示しました。
The third theme of elements, following FIRE and STACK AND BIND, is CLIMATE.
03 CLIMATE is a long-term project that explores the conditions shaped by climate and the ways humans have adapted to them, aiming to preserve and update accumulated wisdom. The exhibition at graf porch marked the beginning of this journey, where the three members each presented their own interpretations and explorations of CLIMATE—taking the first step toward tackling this vast theme.
