Come along to Outside the Box - A creative workshop using recycled materials led by @element.aga at Love Food CIC funded by @cag_devon Together, we’ll transform recycled materials—old magazines, food packaging, and boxes—into unique 3D collages and sculptural artworks. No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to play. Tuesday 2 June 11am-1pm. Book via Eventbrite, see link in bio.
Come along to explore your creativity, meet others, and share your story through art. Whether it’s memories connected to food, or imaginative narratives inspired by the materials themselves. It becomes a shared space where creativity, conversation, and community come together.
All are welcome!

I had the pleasure of running another workshop at THG in Honiton. Thank you for having me again.
We worked with the traditional art of pisanki – a Polish method of decorating eggs using a wax-resist (batik) technique. Melted wax is drawn onto the shell in stages, protecting delicate lines and patterns as the egg is dipped into successive dyes. Each layer builds depth, colour, and meaning.
Pisanki are more than decoration – they are symbols of renewal, protection, and tradition, carefully created by hand and passed down through generations.
It was such a joy to guide everyone and see so many intricate and beautiful pieces come to life ✨

Kitchen Table is a collaborative project by Ella S Mills and Vashti Cassinelli — supporting women and non-binary artists through shared, creative gatherings.
I love cooking for Kitchen Table — bringing seasonal, simple, colourful dishes into a space held so thoughtfully by Ella and Vashti.
Together, we create something more than a meal: a place of exchange, where stories, practices and traditions are passed between women — through food, through art, through time spent side by side.
It feels like an extension of the table itself.
There’s a quiet power in these shared moments.

Spring Wreath with Pisanki
This wreath is decorated with Pisanki – traditional batiki (wax-resist) decorated eggs, an ancient symbol of renewal and life.
On Pisanki, the sun often appears as circles, stars, rosettes, or radiating lines. Each variation carries the same message — growth, vitality, and the endless cycle of life.
Around them bloom dried wildflowers: Tansy – once believed to protect the home and bring strength, Yarrow – a symbol of healing and courage and Teasel – representing resilience and natural harmony.
Together they create a wreath that carries the spirit of the season and the wisdom of old folk traditions.
My spring wreaths are available at @host.studionine in Totnes — tomorrow is the last day to see and get one there.
