2025 what a year for Ele Marchant š«
Continued to be gorgeous and inextinguishably joyful, completed my Masters with distinction from my dream uni, went on my first tour, did jury duty & delivered the verdict, shot Wolf Alice at the O2, had my work in exhibitions, made my first book, had my first article published, won pub quizzes, moved cities, did some backing vocals, saw Lana Del Reyā¦
a year of innumerable great outfits, gigs, festivals, karaoke, photobooths, international affairs, labours of love, Monetās gardens, my first Irish Guinness, expensive cocktails, lots of dancing and lots of loooooove

With their fourth album, The Clearing, the London group further cemented their place as modern British masters. ā
ā
In the live setting they invariably beef out their sound with a sprinkle of heaviness. As their long tour in support of the record draws to a close, we caught them once again this year, this time at The O2 Arena, to have our socks rattled ahead of Christmas. ā
ā
Opening with āThornsā and closing with āDonāt Delete The Kissesā, the group were in furious form, showcasing their scintillating new album.ā

Fans of Keaton Henson will be well aware of his reputation - the posterboy for sadness, an artist who trades in devastation, a famous recluse who has spent his career avoiding the press. However, in her third conversation with the artist, Lucy Harbron has found that the reality of the man couldnāt be further from that.ā
ā
But thatās not the point. On his ninth album, āParaderā, Keaton Henson is considering what he wants to do and what he wants to give on the loudest record of his enigmatic career. Here, Henson is less interested in fitting the role some might like him to play, and is more in it to honour the essence of himself - and the heavier influences that have always been there.ā
ā
From the beauty of childhood garage bands, to the grown up desire to not be boxed in, Far Outās second intimate interview with Henson follows him through evolutions and realisations. ā
ā
Checking in with him for an annual catch up after the retreat of his last album, this time round, Henson wants to give everything - but just not give it all. Read the full interview on our š in bio ā
