AI won’t replace strong specialists. But it will expose weak foundations faster than ever🤔
At IT Future Fest 2026, Yurii Haliuk, Customer Experience Lead, shared a grounded perspective on how AI is already reshaping design and tech careers — not in theory, but in day-to-day work.
During the session “AI — The New Junior. So, Who Are You?”, Yurii spoke about:
• why access to AI tools is no longer a competitive advantage on its own
• how gaps in critical thinking affect junior specialists
• real cases where AI improved outcomes — and where it made them worse
• which skills will stay valuable as the industry changes
One of the strongest messages from the talk: AI works best when treated as a tool, not as a competitor.
For Yurii, the event was also personal — a chance to share with students the kind of guidance he once searched for himself as a Polytechnic student, and to continue the mentorship culture that shaped his own path at ELEKS.

Vilnyy Vybir team has been working with veterans for over 10 years, so we understand that inclusion is a real need for many people. It should become the norm, and we’re starting with ourselves.
On the platform .ua/, we implemented key accessibility features, including clear navigation, keyboard support, dark mode, high contrast, and alt text for images.
Together with ELEKS and UX/UA designer Bohdan Moroz, we worked to make the platform accessible for everyone. More details are in the carousel.
We were proud to be part of Tech360 and to join the discussion about how technology and policy influence each other in today’s world.
On stage, our Chief Engineering Officer, Ruslan Seredyuk, shared his perspective on scaling IT in non-traditional markets, while our Customer Success Director, Olha Klok, spoke about the broader role IT companies play in contributing to society. ELEKS’ Account Managers Svyatoslav Navytka and Sergii Suchenko also attended the event to exchange ideas with other participants.

The ELEKS AI Guild recently hosted a hackathon where ELEKSers worked together to develop AI solutions for real-life crisis situations, such as emergency guidance, shelter navigation, and knowledge systems that help reduce uncertainty in critical moments.
📍 ELEKSers participated both onsite in Lviv and online, showcasing what can be accomplished in just one week of focused teamwork
💡 Six teams, made up of thirteen experts, explored crisis response approaches by combining AI, verified information, and human-centered design
🤝 The outcome included strong demos, practical ideas, and a supportive environment for learning and experimentation
The focus was to build a Crisis Response AI Copilot, a tool designed for situations many in Ukraine face today: shelling, fires, injuries, outages, evacuation, or finding shelter. Teams tested ideas in practice and explored different ways to solve the same problem
“Organizing and serving as a jury member at our internal winter AI hackathon was an inspiring experience. I appreciated the creativity and technical skills shown despite the tight schedule. Selecting projects was challenging, as many presented excellent approaches,” says Oleh Chaplia, AI Engineering Competency Manager

Напередодні дня народження у Каті збільшилися лімфовузли, і родина дуже швидко опинилася в лікарні з важким діагнозом — нейробластома. Попереду тривале лікування. Але мама і дівчинка налаштовані позитивно, бо знають, що вони на цьому шляху вони не самі
У 2025 році Eleks передали понад 600 000 грн у межах щомісячних внесків, і ця підтримка допомогла 72 дітям, які борються з раком. Також понад 750 000 грн було спрямовано на дороговартісні ліки для 10 дітей. Завдяки таким внескам у родин зʼявляються моменти, коли у дитини є ресурс гратися, а в мами є можливість видихнути.
