This Saturday, 5/16, KOLTAY takes us on a journey of synthesizer soundscapes at 10 PM.
KOLTAY is a singular analog synthesist hailing from Detroit, Michigan, the well known epicenter of Second Wave New Age. He makes your basic harmonically rich saturated drone atmospheres, live, in a rock setting. Fej opens the special Thursday night CAVE show on 5/7.
Fej - Jeff France - is an Akron area musician and artist. Fej is a nickname he’s had since childhood when he was learning about music and art from a very sweet older crowd. He will play an eclectic turntable set featuring songs from that impressionable period along with some new scores and bargains he’s come across. He will start playing at doors open (8pm) and keep it going until around 9.
