My new longbow shoots wonderfuly fast.
It is 6' 4" and 55lbs at 27" draw, the back is Beech the core is Purple heart and the belly is Lemon wood.
I have spent the last 4hrs warming it up before I could pull it to full draw.
The string now needs retying as it has stretched lowering the brace height.

“What a difference a decade makes” 10 years ago I was training for my goal of joining the British Stunt Register, met people through training that are now lifelong friends and was working as a Knight at a Medieval themed resteraunt to pay for it all (RIP The Banquet/Beefeater). 10 years on I am a qualified and working Stunt Performer, I still hang out with those people and every workday is a new adventure. I miss the grind to qualify, it was a special time but there are more special times ahead, especially now my wife and I are raising our own little Wolf cubs. Everyday an adventure
