The willow is in the tub for Friday’s festival fun! @elderflowerfields is officially less than a week away - I’m so looking forward to being awash with happy people having a wonderful time, and the way there’s always more to discover, something unexpected to stumble upon. Winding our way back through the tents to find our friends and our firepit, and heading back out to see what adventures and fun will cross our path 🤩

Expect big tunes, good vibes, and dancing under the trees all day long. And when it’s time quieten down the fantastic @hushbeatsdisco will be on hand with headphones for some serious silent disco action as two Codesouth DJs battle it out over the channels. 🎧🎶

• Single Parents can be festivals parents too ✨ •
My top tips for solo parenting at @elderflowerfields :
• Bring a trolly/wagon - you can’t carry everything yourself and hopefully the kids will sleep in it too!
• Ditch the routines and go with the flow
• Make your own festival family… accept help, we all need it sometimes! 🫶🏻
• Bring ear defenders
• Snacks, snacks, snacks!
• Write your number on the yellow wrist bands or if your kid won’t keep a wrist band on write on their arm or leg 📱
• If your kids are old enough choose a “meeting spot”
• Don’t expect too much from yourself or your child, rest when you both need to and if you want an evening off there’s the fabulous @mortimer_nannies
• Most importantly do what works for YOU and have fun!💛

This time next week we will be getting the van packed and filling the camper with food ready to make our way to @elderflowerfields to celebrate 15yrs!
We only jumped on the bandwagon in 2023 but have fallen in love with it ever since and been every year.The festival is full of love, heart and just pure joy for all.The kids can’t wait to climb trees, kayak on the lake, pond dip and most of all dance under sun in our festival get ups.
