Yesterday, we released the final episode of the final season of the Garrix Show. A special moment, as this show has been part of my life for so long. Ten years ago, I got an email from Watse asking if I’d be interested in making a documentary about Martin Garrix. He knew me from my work on The Reem with Alistair Overeem. I didn’t know Martin at the time, so I wasn’t sure how exciting a DJ documentary could be, but Martin was about to graduate from the Herman Brood Academy, so I figured I’d meet him and get some nice footage for his family. After filming the ceremony, they invited me to film their upcoming tour. I thought, “If the footage sucks, I won’t do this documentary,” but once I saw the crowd go absolutely mental at Balaton Sound, I realized this kid was the real deal. That first footage became episode one, released exactly 10 years ago. Now, 10 years and 58 episodes later, I never imagined it would turn out like this. The past decade with Martin and his team has been the adventure of a lifetime. What’s amazing about documentary film and youtube is how we’ve been able to share that journey with everyone across the world. Over the years, many fans have told me how Martin’s music and story have inspired them, boosted their mental health, or simply provided a joyful escape. That’s what it’s all about—spreading love, inspiration, and a little break from the everyday. After 10 years, we’ve told all there is to tell about Martin Garrix and his world. You can only cover so many ADEs, Ultras, and Tomorrowlands. So, with season 5, we’re calling it a wrap. That doesn’t mean I’m leaving the team—there may be more episodes in the future—but as far as seasons go, this is it. On a personal level, it feels right to switch gears and focus on new projects after so long. So check out the final episode—it’s a tribute to Martin, his crew, the fans, and everyone who made this journey possible. Releasing episode 10 exactly 10 years to the day is the perfect way to close this chapter. So a huge thanks to everyone involved making this show a reality, too many people to thank, you know who you are ! And a big thanks to all the fans for their support. Forever grateful🙏🏻❤️

Just finished an incredible journey documenting the Delft Hyperloop dreamteam and their journey to and through the european hyperloop competition in Edinburgh, Scotland. A very special group of young people that went above and beyond to achieve something that would take industry years. A fully functional and incredibly efficient hyperloop system, but next to that friendships for life. A privilege to be part of. Together with my right hand man Ben we followed the many highs and lows for a documentary that is going to be something else. I stayed with my lovely uncle and aunt in portobello and that made this trip all the more special. I’m full and empty at the same time ❤️

The India tour was an incredible experience, such hard work for the team involved and so intense with the energy and love from the fans. I’ve had a lot of dm’s from fans asking about the ep and finally we are live ! Hope I did it justice. And still incredible to see Martin bring this level of energy together at his shows. Insane. Big thanks to Mathias for his amazing shots, team garrix and everyone involved, this was one for the books 🔥 link in bio.

It was so good to be back after the covid years to spend time with my dear friends on oahu, and seeing my world travelling friends from amsterdam as a super bonus. Worked on a very special secret movie with my buddy erik, saw a active volcano with my besties maaiky & bennie, witnessed the eddie, learned to e-foil thanks to the foil fakir jason henderson and had great conversations and moments with my good friend pash. Made new friends and recharged my life 😌Something about this place is just ✨ Ready for 2023! 💪

New episode went live last friday ! This is a special one, thanks to the Dutch Airforce and the Garrix team we were able to go a little extra. The aim was Top Gun Garrix and we’ve come pretty close with the tools we had I think. 😊 I want to thank Stefan Jansen and Damian Karsznia for taking care of the Volkel shoot while i was down with covid. Worst timing ever… Many thanks to my buddy Willem for recording the sound at Volkel and prepping me for Tucson. I especially want to thank Cris Schrik who shot the amazing footage from the 2nd jet and Ruud Mol for capturing the killer takeoff footage. Their help and expertise really took this to the next level. Big thanks and bow to Eelco Bakker at stmpd for going the extra mile on the sound design of the flight ! And of course the pilots, crew and everyone who was so nice and helpful getting this production done. Last but not least big up to Watse and Martin for trusting me in letting me do my thing. Proud of Martin and how he handles everything, the Tucson shoot was squeezed in between Tomorrowland, Ibiza and Omnia shows which makes it all the more impressive. Many thanks to Kris Manders from Defense for the great and smooth cooperation. Proud of this one ! Link in bio for the full flight 😉
