elo p so first time ko lng mag post ng climbing content pero nakikita niyo naman na yung stories ko before pero wala gusto ko nalang din ipost para solid waashahs (nakakatamad gumawa ng separate climbing account kaya dito nalang) so ayun kilala niyo na ako sa puro bundok maiba naman para hindi puro bundok laman ng feed hehehe ibang side quest naman hehe

First major hike for the year, more to come next time. Did not expect it to be that COLD, but still managed. Blessed with good weather as well. Travel going here was exhausting, a 9 hour van ride and a 2 hour monster jeep ride. Still fun and memorable. Met some good and cool people during the hike, and the views at the summit SERVED. The views along the way were also really nice, especially at the top of Carrot Peak. Enjoyed this hike a LOT

This wraps up my hiking journey for 2025, and I am really happy that I started hiking and truly enjoyed it. Ever since I began hiking last February, I have learned a lot about life and was able to get to know myself better.
It is not all about reaching the summit. There are many things I also enjoyed, such as the experiences that come with it, the people you meet along the way, the stories you share with one another, and the journey you take to reach the summit.
Not every hike gave me a great experience, as every mountain comes with different surprises and challenges. However, with all the challenges I encountered, I was able to learn from them. I can say that most of these experiences are truly memorable for me.
I would also like to thank all the people who supported me along the way. I would not have achieved this without everyone’s support and encouragement.
Looking forward to conquering more mountains in 2026, gaining more experiences, and learning new lessons along the way.

This was my second time hiking this mountain, and it will be my last hike of the year. This mountain will always have a special place in my heart because when I was a kid, I dreamed of climbing it. After ten years, in 2025, I finally started hiking, and my goal was to hike this mountain. I did it last July, but I did not expect that I would come back again.
This hike was really nice because there were more than 70 people in our group, and it became even more special because I met new people who are also interested in hiking and who live in my province. I did not expect the hiking community here to be very active and diverse because people of all ages were part of our group.
This mountain offers everything, from an assault that will make you catch your breath, to a forest that is challenging but pleasant to walk through, and especially a very beautiful view that you can enjoy at the campsite. This mountain is also very good for beginners, so if you want to start traveling and climbing mountains in our country, Marinduque is the place to be. In addition, this island has a lot to offer, including beautiful beaches, waterfalls, caves, mountains, and more.
This marks my last hike for the year 2025, and I will surely conquer more in the coming year. I am also certain that I will return here again.

Finally, after weeks of searching for a new lightweight, comfortable, non-waterproof hiking shoe/trail runner, I think I found the one.
I got the @altrarunningph Lone Peak 9+ in collaboration with and wander, in color black, with some cool details and patterns all over the shoe.
Unlocked a new brand and based on reviews online, they say this is a really good shoe for outdoor activities.
Can’t wait to try them on the trails.
