âŚâOne thing about trees is, they never stop growing. They can live long, grow tired, grow weak, but they will stretch themselves and reach. They will blow in the wind and branches will fall but the tree will stand. They will weather a storm and still cover youâŚâ

Thank you God for gifting me with this very special project. Itâs been hard for me to articulate the gratitude I feel for God carrying me here and giving me the strength, power, love and passion it would take to rise 100ft in the air to honor the first female and first African American Mayor Pasty Jo Hilliard serving from 1993-2006 and her Legacy in the City of East Point. Special Thank you Mayor Pasty Jo Hilliard and her late husband Asa G. Hilliard for their leadership and guidance across the world. Thank you to the @thevecinogroup and @cityofeastpoint for considering me and trusting me to deliver this special project & to @livingwallsatl for heading production. This project has impacted me forever. I pray that it brings joy, pride, and liberation to the residents of East Point. Thank you each of you for your continued support.

Meet E L Chisolm @elcreativ.e , the artist behind the powerful Aya Tower mural in East Point.
Her work blends portraiture, bold color, cultural symbolism, and storytelling to honor identity, legacy, and community. This mural, titled âLEGACY: Be True To Thyself,â honors former East Point Mayor Patsy Jo Hilliard and includes Adinkra symbols, butterflies, vines, and warm tones that represent strength, transformation, and endurance.
For ARTrail, this is the perfect example of how public art can turn a building into a landmark, and honor those who have shaped our local history.
Stay tuned đ

đ32 Rotations around the Sun (at least thatâs what they tell me) as far as I know, the year is 2093 and today I am 100, but I am overwhelmed with Gratitude. The last rotation was a whirlwind. I have grown, I have regressed, I have moved forward, and taken steps back, I have experienced loss and gain. & for all of it, I am grateful & It keeps coming around. God is Faithful and I am grateful. Thank you God for blessing međđž

I have had the honor and privilege to love one of Godâs most precious people and to be loved by her in this lifetime. Thank you Sydney A. Foster. For sharing space, and holding space. I am truly grateful for our love and friendship.

2025 Highlight: I had the honor and privilege of sitting and chatting with the world renowned Dr. Shelley Stewart, on Shellyâs Plumbline, where we discussed some hard truths in the Academy of Commonsense. @shelleys_plumbline

I am amazed and inspired by Dr. Shelley Stewart, at 90 years, he is still using his voice to speak truth to power. As the oldest podcaster in the United States, he was recently inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame. I am so grateful to have sat with him to share a little of my story as a young, gifted, and black woman from the city of Birmingham, AL. This conversation was so affirming. Thank you Dr. Shelley Stewart and Mark Jamoz @telejammer for sharing space with me. I am honored to be amongst the many people that have shared airspace with âShelley the Playboyâ.

âI woke up screaming from hallow hallways. Long darks ones, that I have traveled for miles. Hallways with hidden doors, nooks and crannies and large walk in closets. No one is there. No one is listening. I cannot be heard.â

âEchoes of nothingness ringing in my ears.
White noise and faint whispers.
Nails clawing at my skin.
& Fire at my feet
Hearing stories of men who endure pain, but cannot scream.
They scream inside me.â
