I carried my camera and a single 26mm pancake lens on 14 portages and paddled with it tightly packed in our canoe as we paddled across 7 lakes over 3 days on the off chance I’d see something spectacular. It was all worth it for this photo.
We had one clear night on a perfect campsite where we laid out on rocks and huddled under blankets. Without a tripod I balanced my camera on a rock in the dark and hoped for the best.
I could say so much more about this, and I probably will. For now, I’ll let our galaxy speak for itself.
