For this to be my last fashion show for this year’s NYFW, it couldn’t have been anymore dope than it already was.
I was able to rub shoulders and meet some of the finest in the industry from models to event producers to meeting the brother of the man behind Showroom Confessionals NYC!!!
Gods timing is always the best and I can’t thank Him enough for seeing my heart and giving me the GREEN LIGHT to reset, regroup and truly walk into our destiny for EMM.
I truly can’t thank enough Ms. @awakenkayla for adding me to her incredible networking group chat here on Instagram because this is where many flyers are posted of events that are going on and @the_confessional_showroom_nyc was one of the flyers I saw and since we are still in NY, why wouldn’t I make myself present?!
And did I mention to you that @franklinmyrtle made it all worth while?! He made sure that I was introduced to people I need to know and EVERY photographer/videographer that was in the building?! 😂😂 You can’t miss a beat with Franklin!
I know. Y’all not ready but you better get ready because this C (Christ) train has now boarded and left the station! Maybe this is why it’s been my transportation to get around the city these last 5 days!!! Been loving EVERY minute!

In our beginning stages as a mother agent, we didn’t have a manual of what to do and how to build something special but our heart was deeply involved for those who believed in us.
One can never take away what we poured into the models we touched, encouraged and helped to break into this industry. And though we have pivoted into a different direction of how we work with models, our doors will always be open as a coach, mentor and supporter to the ones who truly need it.

Out of the clear blue sky, we received a message through messenger from a Pageant Director asking us to be a judge for his pageant. Dale (RIP) didn’t know me or our brand because we had just gotten started with Elan, and yet, I got an invitation. I didn’t even know if it was real or not.
But….I accepted the invitation.
It was our first exposure to pageantry as a judge.
On that day, I met some incredible people who have helped paved our way into the fashion and now pageant world.
We are forever grateful for the full circle moment as we are now a newly minted State Pageant Director with @mbiapageant and because of former Queen @theglamlabwithmals , I am able to pour into many in this space.
Get ready for our inaugural pageant. It will be life changing and will add crowns on women who will represent NC and SC with poise, integrity and grace.
