Ahh, what can I say to my beloved Workplace Altar Class of 2025?
Yesterday morning, I woke up to news that the official group photograph of this graduating set was lost.
Words cannot describe how I felt.
That was the crowning moment of our collective efforts over the past months, and it felt as though its memory was robbed.
The devil is a liar.
While I was deep in sorrows, the Lord said to me, “The enemy is looking for the smallest win in a battle he has already lost, give him nothing.”
Hahahaha, RAHHHHHHHH 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This course was a product of the burden of the Lord.
A burden for believers to see themselves as weapons of God sent into nations, industries, and families to uproot the gates of hell and establish the kingdom culture of the Lord.
It was a product of a burden for every believer to understand that there is no son of God who is not called to ministry and there is no minister without an altar.
Our office desks, tailoring tables, factory lines, football pitches, and dance floors are very much altars as the pulpit on Sunday morning.
God has called every single one of us to heal the world with the works of our hands and build structures for divine influence to penetrate the earth.
We are priests and kings.
Priests open the gates of heaven upon the earth, kings establish them.
It is my prayer that the gates of hell will fail wherever you are. It is my prayer that your yes will bring a great deliverance for many. It is my prayer the beasts that sit as thrones in industries will fall because of your presence.
This is the least you will ever be in the name of Jesus.

It’s funny how empty smiles can look so bright.
An old friend found my page a few days ago and messaged me in disbelief 😅.
Had you known me just 3 years ago, you would be in disbelief too. The life I lived and am now living are irreconcilable.
I am just here, amazed at how God’s love and grace can transform a person.
For those who just came to know me, before there was El Shakar, there was ‘Rookie baby’ 😅😅.
When I look at a lot of my old photos and videos, they are filled with bright smiles and laughter but all I remember from those times are sorrows. Profound sorrows.
This was me just over 3 years ago. I remember waking up so many mornings and just breaking down in tears. There was just this emptiness I couldn’t explain.
I really was looking for love, I was looking for acceptance, I was looking to be valued in all the wrong places.
Little did I know that the only one who can accept you is the one who knows you, the real you, the GOD-YOU.
God is where we all have come from, God is who we really are. Every other identity is a lie and anyone who can’t see that, including, you, does not know you.
You can’t love or accept something you don’t know.
‘Acceptance’ is such a deceptive word.
The carpenter accepts the slab of wood from the lumberjack but does he sell a slab of wood to his client or does he deliver a chair?
Be wary of those who accept you as a slab and enable your life of ‘slabness’, calling it ‘love’.
This generation is deceived.
God is indeed a carpenter and he accepts the slab in order to bring out the glorious dining table.
We live in a generation that wants to be a ‘magnum opus’ but fears the chisel.
We say ‘how can you chip this part off of me if you love me? 😩😩😩’ ‘If you love me you will accept every part of me!’
Yes, Michelangelo accepted the slab of marble but he is not known for a marble slab but for the ‘Pieta’ that he sculpted out of it.
The acceptance and validation I was searching for in the eyes of many, I found in God. I found it and boy am I glad his validation came with a chisel.
This is not me saying i’m arrived. Hahah, far from 😅. I’m just here to say ‘Thank you Jesus’.
We’re looking forward to such a beautiful and intentional time in the presence of the Lord today.
Come expectant. Come with your heart fixed on Him.

Once upon a time, my wife was on a YouTube Live with my dear sister @ezinne.zara . They were having a conversation about the Bible.
Whilst they were speaking, someone commented something along the lines of “This is sinful, women should not be preaching.” 😵💫😵💫
I was so flabbergasted by that statement that I wasn’t even offended, I couldn’t even take something that ridiculous seriously.
Only to see a few others cosigning such a comment and it made me realize that I really was in a bubble 🫠.
People really believe that a woman has no right to be a voice in the kingdom.
And we see this subtly in the church, how women are like an afterthought when it comes to the apostolic front.
They are taken so unseriously that many women have come to believe that the best they can offer in the kingdom is to be “hospitality protocol.”
The worst part is that even women have subtly believed this about themselves.
They are quick to scoff when they see their fellow women hold the microphone or speak with authority.
Almost like, “Who gave you the right to be free?”
This is not Biblical, and I pray that this short message serves as a mirror.
Yes, God created order, both in the family and in the church. But order is for administration, not suppression.
Every joint must supply.

There are people who can handle promotion, but cannot handle replacement.
That is why position often reveals the heart more than pressure does.
In God’s kingdom, service is the point, not visibility.

For the past few weeks, we’ve pressed deeply into the Courts of Heaven series - learning, unlearning, and coming into greater understanding of the realities of God and His dealings with men.
And now, we begin again.

Come ready to learn, to relearn, and to unlearn. Come expectant for the light of God and for all that He desires to reveal through this teaching.
