I am very lucky to have such an excellent business partner. A couple of coincidences put us in each others lives and we have had some really great times and some really shit times too. But we (almost) always get along and (almost) always agree, and that is part of the reason that Gluttony is where it is. I am grateful to be in business with someone with an incredible amount of integrity and care, someone who is passionate and ethical and kind, as well as other important business things like innovative and clever and resourceful. No YOU got carried away and ate too many hot pots! This is what happens when you’re traveling for work and there is hot pot on the end of your street… my new rule is you have to put in at least one thing you can’t identify every time. Which is why my third and final hot pot is so colourful!!
Date ‘night’ today was an adventure picnic from @amazingco.me around the Adelaide Hills and it was very us. Solving puzzles and picking up delicious foods and discovering local places and ending up with a picnic at Mt Lofty. Such a lovely day out, with food from @beerenbergfarm@ottos.bakery@udderdelightscheese@theorganicmarketandcafe and the very best of company from @halihandro We were too busy eating to take photos of the food unfortunately ☺️
I’ve been going to so many big concerts - in the last ten days I did Tool with Alex, AC/DC with Daniel, Johannes and Rowan, and Garbage with Julz and Paula - what an absolute time! All three concerts were so good, and in entirely different ways. A bunch of old rockstars doing their thing like they never grew up.
One of my goals this year was to start running. I‘ve never been cardio fit in my adult life, and running for longer than about 30 seconds seemed impossible. Eight weeks ago I started a couch to 5km program, and today I did my final workout as part of that program.
For anyone who runs, these stats would look pitiful. That’s a very slow run! But it’s a huge achievement for me! And it’s really just the start!
The second best way to experience the Metallica and Evanescence concert - listening from across the river while eating dumplings and drinking Umeshu at Lucky Dumpling Market with excellent friends.

I bloody love roller derby and I consider myself so lucky to have found a sport that brings me so much joy! And even more lucky that it’s a sport that comes hand in hand with incredible community.
I bloody love my team. Just you wait Adelaide, 2026 is gonna be the year of the Wild Hearse, just you wait!
