Back on top at Round 2 of the Australian Kart Championship.
From qualifying to the final, we stayed inside the top 4 all weekend and showed the speed, consistency, and determination we’ve been working so hard for. After everything, this result means more to me than people probably realise.
Massive thank you to my family for the endless sacrifices, the late nights, the travelling, and always believing in me no matter what. To Official JGR, thank you for pushing me to become the best driver and person I can be. To CC Racing for an unreal engine package all weekend, and to Mynd Movement for always supporting me on and off the track. Also a huge thank you to Joe from EKS for all the help with kart setup and helping keep the kart fast for the whole race meeting.
And to everyone behind me, supporters, friends, and everyone cheering me on thank you. None of this happens alone, and I’m beyond grateful to share these moments with the people who have stuck by me through everything.
We’re hungry for more 👊
Australian Kart Championship – Round 2
📍 Ipswich
There are always positives to take from every step of the karting journey into memory.
This weekend, we secured pole position in dry qualifying and a heat race win in the wet — a great reflection of our pace in both conditions.
Unfortunately, a few setbacks across the weekend meant we just missed out on a podium once again. Racing can be unpredictable, but that’s all part of the game.
A big thank you to everyone for the encouragement and support over the past two days — it truly means a lot.
We stay positive, keep learning, and keep pushing.
Can’t wait for my next race 🥳🥳🥳🇮🇹🇮🇹

🔥🏁Brad Jones Challenge – Rochester Kart Club
Sat 16/5
Goulburn Valley Kart Club
Sun 17/5 🏁🔥
A solid testing weekend ahead of the Golden Power Series. We spent the weekend trying a few different things with the kart setup and gathered some really valuable data along the way.
It definitely wasn’t all smooth sailing though. We had a flat tyre and hit a roo on the way up to Rochester in two separate incidents! The joys of lots of racing and travelling 🤪. Thankfully the roo bounced away unharmed, although the trailer didn’t come off as lucky and has a bit of damage that’ll need repairing. Looks like we might need to activate Plan B to get the kart to Hamilton next weekend!
To top it off, we also forgot the transponder and micro batteries 🤦♂️ Huge thanks to the @pulsetuning64 team and @meadowsmotorsport for bailing us out over the weekend — absolute legends! 👊
Despite the chaos, the pace was strong and we managed to come home with the top step on both days 🏆🏆
Big shout out to @mtuckerandsons@revracegear@bellracinghq@pulsetuning64@ekskartau for the continued support. We couldn’t do it without you! See you next week at Hamilton for Round 2 of the Victorian Country Series!
Unfortunate ending to what so could of been…
A DNF in the final from starting on the second row is a tough pill to swallow but there are still so many positives to take from this weekend. Currently sitting 11th in the points after today and 5th overall for the round.
Now we fly off to Italy for ROK Cup this weekend in the @ekskart tent.

Day 1 of Ipswich done 📈👊.
Top 10 for Qualifying tomorrow and still plenty more in the tank.
Got my @ekskart on rails by the end of the day just a couple small mistakes made by me held us back from sneaking up to the front 5.
More than ready for what tomorrow throws at us.

Round 2 of the Golden Power Series @bendigo_kart_club was definitely a character-building weekend! With Dad sidelined recovering from knee surgery, @trisho_xx and @steve.pulse.24 from the @pulsetuning64 team stepped in to help support me across the weekend. 🙌
⏱️ Qualifying – The setup just didn’t quite suit the conditions. Started P8 and ended up P13.
🔥 Heat 1 – Started P13, dropped back to P18 after getting caught up in a Turn 1 (Lap 1) incident mid-pack, but fought hard to recover back to P11.
🌧️ Heat 2 – Absolutely pouring rain and standing water everywhere. After taking evasive action to avoid another incident, I dropped from P13 back to P23. I managed to keep it pointing in the right direction in some super wet conditions and fought my way back through the field, crossing the line in P16 by the end of Lap 1. I kept pushing hard, continued making up positions, and eventually recovered to finish P7.
⚡ Heat 3 was unfortunately cancelled due to a lightning delay.
🏁 Final – Started P8 and crossed the line P7, but a drop-down penalty moved me back two spots to P9 overall.
Not every weekend goes exactly to plan, but we’ll continue to put our heads down, keep learning and keep focusing forward. Plenty of positives to take away and we’ll come back stronger next round. 💪
Thanks to Steve Riddell, Mum, the entire Pulse Tuning crew and @meadowsmotorsport for all the support across the weekend. Huge thanks as well to my mate @michaelwhitemotorsport51 for all the encouragement and guidance throughout the event.
Special shout out to @joetighenthat and the team at @ekskartau for all the setup guidance and support across the weekend — greatly appreciated.
And congratulations to @jaigeorgeracing@jimmyswattonmotorsport and @arjnn922 on the podiums! 👏🏆
