One thing I’ll always protect on a wedding day… is how it feels.
Not rushing moments that deserve to be slow.
Not letting timelines steal presence. 🤍
Before heading into pre-drinks, Jonny & Ella had ten quiet minutes to themselves, champagne, canapés, and a moment to simply take it all in together. 🫶🏻
The most beautiful weddings are never just beautiful visually, you can feel them too 🤍

Eikehof farm in Autumn. There’s something so nostalgic about a chill in the air and a chicken crowing in the distance.
We had so much fun shooting and editing this video; the superior version is the landscape one, going up on the website soon. I went back and forth on posting it here instead of the Insta-framed one. But the upright format won today.
8K of you — thank you!! 🌿
Congratulations to @Glenvanzyl28 — you’ve won a stay in our cozy mountain cottage Bergzicht. We’re looking forward to welcoming you to the farm.
To everyone who entered, shared, and followed along — thank you for helping us grow 🫶🏽
If you’d like to help us along to 10k, tag someone you’d bring to the farm — we’ll be celebrating that milestone with another giveaway.
On the other side of another icy pre-winter Cape storm, we arrived at @eikehoffarm , welcomed by a gang of turkeys, dappled across the lawns, and silkie chickens running like they are in oversized pantaloons. We couldn’t stop pointing our cameras, every corner has a story to tell.
Frames for Lois & Brendan. Eikehof farm.
What can I say about these two. They are the best kind of people. Filled with so much love and heart.
They chose to have an intimate wedding celebration with their favourite people in the Breede valley. They’ve lived in Sydney for a couple of years now so it was very special for them to have all their family and friends together in one place in their home country.
It was an emotional day for sure. I laughed and cried alongside the guests.
At the end of the evening. Brendan said a thank you to me as I was photographing by the doorway, everyone started clapping and I felt such overwhelming love. The last frame depicts this moment and it's one of my favourites.
