Thank you to the Irondequoit Police Department for visiting Helendale students to talk about safety. Students learned how to call for help, identify trusted adults, trust their instincts, and work with their families to create a safety plan. 🚓🚨

EHS and EIMS AVID students gathered for an AVID College Decision Celebration today! 🎓
EIMS AVID students showed their support by creating personalized posters for each senior. The ceremony in the auditorium included the announcement of each senior’s post-graduation plans, followed by the presentation of AVID cords. The celebration continued with a reception in the cafeteria.

DE fourth graders had a fun Outdoor Experience Day! 🌲🏕️ Students enjoyed an Arboretum walk, learned how to pitch a tent, and participated in a variety of hands-on outdoor activities.

EHS students in the Computer Science Pathway visited the East Irondequoit IT Department to explore careers in technology today! Students got a behind the scenes look at the Operations Center and learned how the IT team supports the district every day. Thanks to our IT staff for this great learning experience! 🏫💻⚙️

Natalie has been named the 2026 recipient of the Joe Genier Memorial Scholarship, awarded to an East Irondequoit student who studied business in high school and plans to continue pursuing a degree in business or entrepreneurship.
