My crew at Eggshell Lighting Company, Inc. takes pride in these events and brought their best for a fast, clean, and efficient install.
We flew our trusses and audio on Sunday, Nov. 26th...over the enormous 88ʻ x 64ʻ stage that went down on the 27th with preliminary focuses that night...
The rig consisted of over 150 moving lights, VL3600s; BMFLs, GLP X5s, GLP X4Bars, Illusions, Wash DXs, Solaris 16x1s, BB7s, and two GrandMa 3s...
...the stage was positioned and sized ʻmid fieldʻ in the Blaisdell Arena to create tiered seating to replicate the Blaisdell Concert Hall, which is closed for renovations for yet another year....complete with a lowered orchestra pit, an envious performance space, and a full choir on risers!
...and would grow to be half again as large as they had the floor of the Arena to fill...
...clearly, this was/and is NOT your parent’s fondly recollected Hawaiian luau...
