I can’t believe it’s almost here, 1 more sleep and that’s it, 26.2 miles between me and finishing this. It’s always been a dream to do this, and it never once felt like a reality. I think it’s true what they say, it’s months and months of hard work, the last 26.2 miles is a victory lap. I can’t believe tomorrow I’ll be running the London Marathon in memory of Grandad.
There’s a lot to be said, so much going on in the world right now and everyone has their own stories to be told. Whatever they are don’t give up, I could’ve happily of hit snooze on several occasions trust me.
I couldn’t have got to this point without my family, my children, my mum, dad, brothers, sisters, friends, work colleagues, ofcourse all those that have donated, liked and shared my posts. Tolerated me so to say. Goes without saying my wife
@xabs2601x has and always will be my biggest inspiration, I love you and thank you for your support.
So this one’s for the people who need help most, who can’t run a marathon, the dads who work full time and keep showing up no matter what, the mums with enough on their plates but always find space or time, the brothers who banter, the sisters who support and the friends who listen along every step of the way.
Tomorrow I’m running for David Glanfield and for those who need help along the way. Because that’s what
@macmillancancer do.
See you at the finish line!
