Would you believe this ceremony took place in a beer hall? @houstonhallnyc had the bones — a historic space dating back to the early 20th century. With the DSE touch (and our incredible creative partner @efflorescent.studio ), we transformed it into the enchanted setting we knew it could become. We set the tone with soft ivory draping, keeping the reception space tucked away until the moment of reveal. A massive pipe running through the room was reimagined as an earthy floral installation, while the center panel of the draped backdrop was later repurposed as the photo booth moment (because we love a design that works overtime). Greenery and white statement florals framed the altar, aisle, and guest entryway, building that quiet, anticipatory pause before guests took their seats. Not what you’d expect from a beer hall, and unlike anything the space had seen before… exactly the point.
