Happy to share my works “interni” as part of “Chi esce entra” at biblioteca hertziana @bhmpi and @maxplanckgesellschaft A Tribute Exhibition to a Disappearing Building Curated by Simon Würsten Marin October 10th - November 9th, 2025 Via Gregoriana 9, Rome Thank you @simonwmarin and biblioteca hertziana @bhmpi for inviting me … In the heart of Rome, a building rich with a century of cultural history but now abandoned for thirty years is about to lose the traces of its past uses. How can art play a role in preserving what risks disappearing from collective memory? From October 9 to November 9, the Bibliotheca Hertziana - Max Planck Institute for Art History presents “Chi esce entra. A Tribute Exhibition to a Disappearing Building”, an unprecedented site-specific project curated by Simon Würsten Marin with over 20 Italian and international artists: Vincenzo Agnetti, Louise Bourgeois, Francesca Cornacchini, Jesse Darling, Eva Fabregas, Tarik Hayward, margaretha jüngling, Thomas Julier, Tarik Kiswanson, Corrado Levi, Paul Maheke, Marie Matusz, Mónica Mays, Hana Miletic, Effe Minelli, Lulù Nuti, Francesca Pionati and Tommaso Arnaldi, Aurélien Potier, Hannah Quinlan & Rosie Hastings, Prem Sahib, Davide Stucchi, Gregory Sugnaux, lan Waelder, Rachel Whiteread.

Effe Minelli’s ‘Letto’ and ‘Dissidenti, Esautorati e Bohémien’ are currently on view in the group show ‘Eyes open, I breathe again’, curated by Samuele Visentin. Based in Naples, Minelli (b.1988) investigates themes of survival and the transmission of cultural legacies, as well as culture as an agent for social change. Grounded in the research and exploration of diverse sculpting techniques and materials, his work poetically moves between public sculpture, theatrical props, and decorative arts.
