My sisters are a masterclass in force.
I like to think that the order of birth was absolutely intentional by God. Two embodiments of force & soft squishy me right in the middle 😆
Onome
@nomsiixoxo is pure strength. Force generated to overcome every difficult situation. This one little package does more than your mind can ever imagine. She generated more force than you think possible for one person & when you put her in the middle of a crowd, she's a force multiplier. Onome is a well of strength. Sometimes, I think it is humanly impossible to be that strong but, there she is, flesh and blood, being the impossible.
Uzezzi
@uzezzi_ is unadulterated power. Don't let the face fool you, Uzezzi is designed to overcome resistance in the shortest time possible. I always like to say "Only God can stand in the way of Uzezzi and a target". There's power & then there's her, Baby lion for a reason.
I was raised with fierce women, their strength & power allowed me to build differently, to find power in tenderness, to stay soft.
Through my sisters I learned loyalty, I learned to find my voice, my own unique force expression.
Through my sisters, I learned to love, I learned to fight, I learned to carry, to move, to make the impossible happen.
There's a quote that resonates with me deeply
"Flower, but made of steel"
"Beauty, but beast inside"
This is what having my sisters made me. Soft, yet unbreakable. My sisters made me elastic.
Happy International women's day to the forces that shaped an unbreakable me.
I love you eternally
