For 7 years, I’ve stayed quiet. I’ve kept the personal battles private, never speaking out or publicly celebrating the achievements that were a result of our hard work. There were times when the negativity overshadowed the joy of those accomplishments.
But I’ve learned that, as creatives, we should always honour our own journey. Every win, big or small, deserves to be celebrated.
One of my favourite quotes says it best: ‘Even in an ocean of bad, accept the drop of good.’
