The design of the main helical staircase in this house in Flanders, Belgium, has the same modernist clarity of form and transparency as the homeโs clean-lined architecture. Very unusually, it was the home-owner who created the initial 3D staircase visualisation, and our technical team refined that vision and produced the final detailed design.

A 29-tonne โribbonโ staircase, fabricated in three sections and installed with millimetre precision from the top down using tandem lifts and spider cranes. This architectural centrepiece connects three major trading floors at Sociรฉtรฉ Gรฉnรฉraleโs London HQ.
Itโs been a few years since completion, but this remains a standout project worth sharing.
EeStairs collaborated closely with tp bennett, Adamson Associates, and Arup to deliver a self-supporting steel structure with a seamless GRG soffit and FSC-certified European oak treads โ engineered for both elegance and performance.
