Aaaayayayy gotta admit sth… as a freelancer it’s not so easy to keep up with regular dance practice - at least for me it’s not easy, idk about you? 🥲 The more grateful I am for each masterclass I can join :) like this one, diving into the repertoire of “Ihsan” by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui with @ricardo_macedo It reminded me not only of the joy in physical challenge, but the URGE to surround myself with creative fellows. And not just booking studios on my own, creating tons of material and never showing it hahaha. I’ve danced in “some” places - supermarkets, train stations, on wooden floors, grass, concrete, high-tech stages that felt like UFOs, beer tables… But somehow a 600 yo wine cellar with its cobblestone floors and arched ceilings is one of the more memorable. There’s just sth magical about moving in a space where the walls hold centuries of secrets and the floors break your b‘s (balls, boobs, bones, béchamel…be creative;))
