20H30 : EEKWAY + SARAH (RELEASE PARTY)
Friction. Texture. Discomfort.
Eekway and Sarah Josserand share a passion for strange, uncomfortable, and harsh aesthetics. Their work explores surreal, abstract, and aggressive textures, both musically and visually.
“Crossthoughts” began as a four-track EP released two years ago, accompanied by video clips that defined the duo’s aesthetic. On January 17th, their second EP will be released as a continuation of the first volume, enriched with new techniques and influences.
This show at Sala Bagaço will serve as the EP’s release party, as well as the first live performance of this new material. The duo has developed a show combining live electronics and VJing, expressing shared thoughts through noise, distortion, and deconstructed idioms.
@eekway - Live electronics, guitar, vocals
@sarah_josserand - VJing
