WIP. Altadena. Winter 2025. We completed work on the main house, a year ago, thankfully it was not lost in January. We had started work on the backyard in December of last year, demo completed weeks before Altadena changed forever. It’s been surreal continuing this project amidst a new landscape and a new postfire state-of-mind. Grateful for kind, resilient clients and the Altadena community-at-large, the conversations we’ve shared, and the privilege we have to be here to serve our community, it has carried us over the last 4 months. We find shared grief, frustration, comfort, motivation — together.

Millwork Details spotted @jennings_residence a collaboration with @cover_arch to renovate a Buff Hensman home in Eagle Rock. Simultaneously looking forward and back, we sought to introduce texture and richness with new details inspired by the house’s post and beam construction and vocabulary.
