EYES ART: JAPAN 🌸🇯🇵🎏 It's been a while since I work on a bigger scale artwork, and of course, I have to continue this EYES ART Series ever since I drew the Penang one‼️💙 Well, this artwork is solely about Japan, the country that I'm currently pursuing to further my studies in, and I would say I did not regret it at all 🍀✨ Also! This time, I took some time to work on some new characters from the EYES WORLD! So take some time to take in all the details! EYES : @ninety9percenttattoo @vintage99___ 9️⃣9️⃣% When EYES first started, 99% was always that brotherhood spot I’d hit up in Penang 👥 We knew each other since they used to have their store at Armenian Street, and eventually moved the one we all know now at Lebuh Ah Quee. Back in 2022, I did my very first aerosol piece there that’s where the EYES character came to life. Now I’m back in my hometown, felt like it was time to refresh that same wall with a new look. 💙EYES x MOMNEVERTHRIFT💙 These jeans were actually printed back in 2023, when I was still working at Against Lab. I first met Sheaun through a photoshoot project for Rotten Paradise. Around that time, he had just started @momneverthrift in 2022. Coincidentally, he was also the one who bought my framed Penang artwork that same year. Since then, we’ve stayed in touch. Recently, we finally met again in KL, catching up and sharing what we’ve both been into lately. Somewhere in the conversation, these jeans suddenly came back to my mind. And I thought — why not now? このジーンズは、実は2023年にプリントしたもの。当時、まだ Against Lab で働いていた頃でした。 Sheaunとは Rotten Paradise のフォトシュートをきっかけに出会いました。その頃、彼は 2022年に @momneverthrift を始めたばかりで、同じ年に僕のペナンの額装作品を買ってくれたのも彼でした。 それからずっと連絡を取り合っていて、最近KLで久しぶりに再会して、近況を話していました。 そんな話をしているうちに、ふとこのジーンズのことを思い出して、「じゃあ今やろうか」って思ったんだ。

HAPPY NEW YEAR, everybody! 💙💙💙 2026 is going to be a better and a memorable one. 🐴 EYES is here till today because of each one of you. The support for my works had been absolutely overwhelming and I couldn't appreciate them more 🫶✨ EYES is still growing, and still looking for more in life. I don't really call myself an artist anymore, I'm more like a motivator. Throughout the years, creating EYES, has always been a way to encourage myself and teach myself to do more in life, and be passionate living life. And i hope that it goes the same to you guys, who follows this art page, to be positive, see things on the bright side. ✨ There will be more in future, more artworks, more positivity, more life! 💙 I appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart.
