THIS IS NOT A MYTHOLOGY
You might think of sculpting as something grand and mythical, like gods creating the world in ancient stories. But this isn’t mythology—it’s my everyday work. When I’m in my studio, I’m not trying to create something deep or full of profound meaning. The act of sculpting itself is straightforward and unpretentious.
As I shape the materials, I’m not aiming for a grand gesture. The real magic happens quietly, almost timidly, as memories and feelings start to emerge. These elements don’t announce themselves loudly; they’re hidden, silent, and sweet.
This isn’t about creating a monument or a profound statement. It’s about letting those personal memories seep into the art naturally, almost shyly. My sculptures may seem fun and light-hearted, but there’s a gentle depth to them, a whisper of nostalgia.
Every piece carries a part of my past, a fragment of a dream, but it does so quietly. This isn’t mythology; it’s my reality, expressed in a way that’s both playful and tender. Through my art, I hope to evoke those same quiet, sweet memories in others, inviting them to find their own stories in the forms I create.
