4 years sober today…
It only took me 10 years to get here.
In that time: I earned my MFA & continue to act regularly, I cofounded a theatre company, I got married to a magnificent partner, I started a band, I performed a Tedtalk & I’m teaching at my dream job.
I don’t do this to brag
I do this because I hope some oddball out there who feels incapable, broken, or out of place; uses this evidence to find the strength to find their voice, and dare to be taken seriously.
It just takes a little humility, accountability, honesty, and patience.
As I look to what’s next, I can’t help but think to myself;

Tech is fun!
We’re building Urinetown this weekend. Tech week is an intense period that immediately precedes opening night where all the pieces come together.
Until this weekend, we’ve been working separately on all our various concentrations - lighting, sound, scenic, costumes, acting, a/v, management… And over the next 48 hours, it all comes together to make a cohesive show!
