I have a lot of DMs asking me how we started Oz’s tech detox. We didn’t have any guidance we just trusted our instincts. We took everything back to basics. I think you are the only ones who know your children deep down, so you know what will work for them. We didn’t know how long it would last but here we are 15
Months later. It’s been the best thing we have done for him. I hope this helps 💕✨
Gifting ideas! This is a question we get asked about a lot since Oz stopped gaming and his ipad. Hope you like them all and if you wanted any links, comment GIFT below and I’ll send them over 💕✨
I stopped taking day one before photos ages ago because I never saw the point but thankfully taking videos is my job so I have this footage to look back at and compare. Also, I was thinking about going back to copper this year. What do you think?
This is something I’ve spoken to others about in person and they sort of shun me for saying it. But then I’ve seen people on here speaking about intrusive thoughts and in a way it brought me comfort because I knew it wasn’t just me 💕
In Jan 2025, I developed acne. Something I had never had in my life and honestly, as shallow as it might sound, it really knocked my confidence.
After a few months of trying creams and antibiotics, nothing worked, so I visited a dermatologist in London who immediately offered me Roaccutane at the first appointment. After researching it, I felt like I wanted to give my skin more time after reading about some of the possible side effects.
So these are the things I did instead:
I stripped everything back and went back to really basic skincare, similar to when my skin was fine.
I used CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser with Salicylic Acid (but not every single day).
If I wore makeup, I’d remove it with a cucumber face wipe and micellar water only (sorry to the derms out there 😂).
For moisturiser, I used Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream and La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5.
I stopped picking at pimples and used pimple patches when I could.
For painful under the skin spots with no exit point, I visited a beautician for Advanced Electrolysis treatment.
But most importantly, I gave my skin TIME.
I realised I needed to stop hyper-fixating on whether my skin looked better overnight and instead compare it to where it had been a month before. Once I started doing that, I could actually see progress, even if it was slow.
Now, over a year later, my skin is so much calmer and more manageable. Sometimes I think about how nice it would be to have “glass skin”, but then I remind myself how far my skin has come in the last year and honestly I’ll never take my skin for granted again 💕😩🥺🤍✨
Honestly got the green set recently, worn it twice already and loved how comfortable it is so I ordered the other colours too 💕. I got a size 10 in both and length regular for the trousers Comment LOVE below to receive the links for them ✨
