the vinyl features a b-side etching designed by @anthonyburrill which looks ace!
a big thanks to @peggy for hosting the auction and thank you to anyone who bid and helped raise money for war child uk! now more than ever, children in conflict zones are desperately in need of the critical support that war child provides.

aaaa I’m so excited to finally share the illustration I created, titled ‘Grateful Day’, exclusively for the ‘Friends of Jinny’ exhibition at Jinny Street in Shibuya, Tokyo.
For the exhibition I had the chance to connect with @ryo_bench , who runs @bench_store_meijiparkmae , just one of a handful of stores that have been in his family for years.
‘Grateful Day’ is a visual representation of the community Ryo has built around himself and the positive impact their support has on him.
When introducing himself and his store, Ryo referenced his longstanding community by saying: “I run this shop here with their support”. Featuring his father who founded the brand, friends, fellow business owners, regular customers and local residents, ‘Grateful Day’ illustrates Bench at the Greene as, in Ryo’s own words, “a place where my friends can gather”.
The exhibition runs until the 17th of May, so if you’re in Tokyo make sure you don’t miss it !! ( and if you do go see it, pretty pleeeease can u take some pics n send them my way as i wish i could be there to see it sososo much !! )
instagram quality is doing the detail dirty but i had so much fun challenging myself and trying something a bit different with this one :) i’ll post some closeups soon so u can tell me u ur fav silly guy is
