Based in Salt Lake City, Saunter has spent the last 12 years building a name in the underground bass scene through relentless experimentation, heavy sound design, and a deep-rooted passion for riddim culture. While known primarily for his riddim and future riddim productions, his catalog stretches far beyond a single genre, showcasing a versatile approach developed over more than a decade behind the project.
Saunter’s music has reached audiences well outside of Utah, with performances in cities including Montreal, Chicago, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Boise. Along the way, he has amassed over 1.5 million streams on SoundCloud and earned recognition from major names in the scene, including having his music played at EDC Las Vegas by PHISO.
Inspired by artists such as AD, Subfiltronik, and Requake, Saunter blends classic underground influences with a modern, forward-thinking style that continues to evolve. In addition to his solo work, he is also one half of @_castcadia_ , a Y2K-inspired duo project that has been featured in popular video games.
