The El Dorado High School Music Department is excited to bring back our annual fundraiser, A Taste on Main Street! Join us on May 16th from 11:00 AM–5:00 PM at the W.S. Kirk/City Hall parking lot, located next to the Courthouse on Main Street in historic Placerville.
Check-in begins at 11:00 AM, with tastings available from 12:00–4:00 PM. Be sure to stay for our raffle drawing from 4:00–5:00 PM—you won’t want to miss it!
Enjoy an afternoon filled with live performances by our award-winning El Dorado High School Jazz Band, Choir, and Marching Band, along with delicious samples from a variety of local restaurants and shops.

Make sure to attend our ONLY May band camp! EVERYONE will be participating in our morning workouts, and ALL sections (except front ensemble) will be marching. We will also be playing some games on the field! The afternoon will be spent learning/memorizing Icarus in sectionals. Shoes that are NOT appropriate are sandals/flip flops, crocs, platform shoes, and boots.

Here's some clips from yesterday's performance at South Lake Tahoe's newly opened recreation center! We're so grateful to have been a part of this ceremony, and we're excuted to use this new facility!
Yesterday, the El Dorado Cougar Band played (everyone's favorite stand chart) Land of 1,000 Dances, BTS's Mic Drop, and Justin Timberlake's Can't Stop the Feeling (not featured in this post, unfortunately). The dance team we played behind did amazing, and we hope to have more opportunities like this in the future!

Our join concert with the local middle schools will be held at Markham Middle School THIS THURSDAY at 6:00 p.m.! (Call time for students EDHS is 5:15)

Attendance is NECESSARY if you are an incoming freshman, especially if you're planning on joining the drumline!
