My annual end of year blog is finally done, written, curated, culled, finished, and plonked firmly on my website homepage for all to see! š®āšØ
Itās taken me bloody ages to make these two slideshows, so please do go and take a look at it. Pleeeeeease!š
These slideshows are always tough to put together. Choosing my favourites from over 20,000 images that were delivered to couples is no easy task.
Culling through all the images, all my hard work, all the effort I put in last year, and then seeing the final results in the form of a 4 minute slideshow definitely filled this chaotic and creative mind of mine with pride and satisfaction for yet another year⦠and a lot of that is down to the amazing couples that hire me and trust me to capture the story of your wedding day š
Direct link to the blog / slideshows can be found in my BIO links, or just head to my website homepage and scroll down to the bottom -

The wedding industry is in a bit of a pickle right now, if you ask me. (Which you didnāt! š¤£)
So Iāve been making some changes to my website over the last few weeks because of this.
The homepage⦠cutting out the waffle and getting straight to the point.
The āAbout Meā page⦠not being afraid to open-up, be vulnerable, and tell you āstrangersā more about me and my life. Iāve always kept this page short and sweet. I hate talking about myself⦠which is why youāll never find me talking to camera on social media.
My āApproachā page, explaining exactly how I work, what excites me, and what doesnāt excite me about weddings! Group photos for one⦠they can get straight in the bin! If they canāt be done in 10 minutes⦠theyāre not worth doing!
And the prices page! Nope⦠that stays the same. Transparent prices and up-front sales as usual. No change there.
So why do I think the industry is in āa bit of a pickle?ā (God⦠Iām so English arenāt I! That is literally how I talk though⦠those words WOULD come out of my mouth) š
Us photographers seem to be obsessed with couples ghosting us. Itās the hot topic on nearly every wedding podcast at the moment (which is why Iāve not listened to a complete podcast AT ALL in 2026 yet!).
YES! Ghosting is so prominent right now. But please, stop wasting your life worrying about it. There really is no point.
If a couple ghost me⦠great! I wasnāt the right fit for them⦠therefore they werenāt the right fit for me!
The great thing about a website is that itās essentially an extension of you⦠your personality⦠and your creative abilities. Your honesty and your trust levels are also measured from the content on your website. By showing my prices It reduces the amount of enquiries I get, and thatās great for me. It means I get more time to live my life, play with my kids, and generally just be stress-free.
I truly believe the more info you give on your website, the less chance there is of ghosting! So just be more open and honest. Be confident and be up-front š
And if a couple do ghost me⦠so what! People are busy. Life is hectic. I get it.
If you book me⦠I love you! If you donāt. I hope you have an amazing wedding!
Last Friday, and it was back to doing what I love the most⦠photographing people in love š„°
Fun fleeting moments, tiny details, bum-grabs, beer-stops, confetti cannons, loving embraces, and as youāll see on the last slide, a collision with a cast iron lamp post! š«£
Donāt worry⦠the cameras survived! Nothing like making a tit of myself in public to get that authentic laughing photo š¤£
Off to London to shoot my first wedding of the year!
I absolutely love photographing weddings in London. In fact, most couples are shocked when they find out Iām not even based in London when they contact me.
Iām fortunate enough to get booked by lots for lots of London weddings⦠and theyāre always fantastic!
Cool backdrops every where, public transport and cabs to photograph in, creative + chilled-out couples, some of the best pubs in the world to have a mid-shoot break in, and even the alleyways (that admittedly, often stink of piss!) make for excellent photo locations! šš«£
The city has it all š
I cannot wait to get back to snapping couples in love, and have so many fun-filled adventures with my cameras booked-in for this year ā¤ļø
Me me me!
Iām very well-aware that nowadays everyone is doing videos on social media. Everyone is chatting to their camera on their phone and posting their life for all to see. Everyone is promoting themselves like theyāre auditioning for a place on Love Island!
I just canāt do that. I cannot be arsed to do that. And I wouldnāt want you poor people to have to watch me cringe my way through that either.
So instead Iāve massively updated my āabout meā page on my website. Iāve given you couples that will hopefully book me to be your photographer a more detailed look into my life. My likes and my interests etc are all written down along with pretty pictures, without the need of watching me squirm on a video.
