Finally got to meet @realrobbell tonight at his book launch at the Largo. I wrote him a letter in 2011, when he was in the midst of attack for his book Love Wins, just to let him know I admire him and was looking forward to what he was working on next. That was, as he might say, 11 Robs ago. We also share a weird overlapping in history. Same high school, and our fathers were both judges. In fact, when his father was tapped by President Reagan, for a federal position, my father became the new Judge on the block, replacing his father locally. We”re #OHS grads and #SonsOfJudges, and I’m glad I finally got to meet him. I still can’t wait to see what he’s working on next.

America lost a true hero today. After numerous moves, microwaves, and washes, IKEA plate finally lost his battle with gravity. This plate is survived by 2 bowls, 2 small plates, and another exact duplicate plate, who has now moved up to #1 in my heart.
