EDGE Hafencity’s lobby is designed as the dramatic and stunning center stage, embraced in lush greenery and natural lighting. Meant to be a multipurpose space, the lobby can be used a variety of ways from meetings and exhibitions, to events and informal gatherings.

Extremely proud to announce the successful completion of @dsmfirmenich ’s headquarters in Gemeente Maastricht, integrating the first Paris-Proof national monument in the Netherlands.
Together with architects @broekbakem , we’ve managed to bring a smart, sustainable and healthy workspace for our client, showcasing historical essence while combining contemporary features such as the large atrium with natural light in a biophilic design.
In partnership with @3wrealestate and @dsmfirmenich , this project uniquely combines the charm of the Ambachtsschool to the modern design of a new building.
The most eye-catching change of EDGE Amsterdam West is the transformation of the courtyard to a green atrium, with a glass dome, letting in tons of natural light and providing environmentally friendly ventilation- and cooling systems.

The building, originally built in the 70’s, underwent a major redevelopment in 2021 with the same architects, Architecten Cie (back then Oyevaar, Stolle & van Gool).
We kept its history alive while modernizing it to be future-proof.
