There is a unique energy that kicks in the moment work begins. As walls come down and the layout takes shape, the project starts to breathe - the result of a collaborative process where design decisions are built together with our client, Serko.
Every action on site is intentional: we carefully dismantle only what’s needed, conserving existing elements wherever possible and reducing unnecessary construction waste.

It’s rare to see a finished space stay so true to the original design. This project is a testament to what happens when vision meets meticulous execution.
From initial concept to finished product, every detail was handled with precision. A huge thank you to the skilled suppliers and craftsmen who helped us nail the finish.
We’re proud to see this space move from "vision" to "reality" so seamlessly.
Project Highlight | Level 6, 87 Queen Street
Edge Interiors was recently engaged by CP Group for a design and build project. This workplace was designed to support approximately 38 users across open-plan work areas, hot desking zones, and private offices. A key design directive was to maintain aesthetic continuity with their upper floor offices. To achieve this, our team retained elements of the existing mood board, defined by deep, elegant neutral tones, while introducing added warmth and identity.
Rich textures and bold patterned flooring feature across key spaces including the boardroom, breakout areas, and private offices, adding visual interest while subtly defining functional zones.
The result is a timeless environment with a distinctly masculine, sophisticated character. Focus rooms, banquette seating, and standing leaners support a range of workstyles, from quiet concentration to spontaneous collaboration.
A flexible and elegant workplace that reflects the CP Group brand while supporting modern ways of working.

An outstanding turnout and a fantastic reflection of the strength within our business community. The weather kept things interesting at times, but it certainly didn’t dampen the energy out on the course.

Meet the Team 👋🏼 Paloma Estay, Senior Designer
Joining Edge in 2024, Paloma brings over a decade of architectural and interior design experience and a whole lot of creative energy to the team. Originally from Santiago, Chile, she’s spent the last 10 years shaping commercial, residential and healthcare spaces across two continents.
With a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Universidad Central de Chile, Paloma has worked on everything from 130,000 sqm hospital developments and over 25,000 sqm of commercial and workplace projects. She’s skilled across concept design and technical specs, and fluent in 3D visualisation. If it needs designing, coordinating, or bringing to life, she’s your person.
Outside of work, Paloma is all about creativity and exploring new places. You’ll find her at the gym, out in nature, dancing flamenco, travelling, taking photos or hunting down great restaurants and bars. Her bucket list includes visiting Greece to see the Acropolis d one day and learning to play the drums.
If she had a superpower, teleportation would be the winner – mostly so she could skip traffic and instantly appear at all her favourite spots (what Aucklander wouldn’t agree?!).

The team is back on board after a well‑rested break and ready to hit the ground running 💥
In between the beach days and BBQs, our project team has been managing eight live sites, with a further four projects ready to kick off before the end of the month.
Across these twelve new projects, we’re grateful to be partnering with a mix of local companies, international corporates and clients in the medical and education sectors, as well as two landlord base builds.
A big thanks to our clients and partners for the continued trust. We’re looking forward to a strong 2026 and delivering some exceptional spaces together.

Project Highlight | Norling Law
Edge recently partnered with Norling Law, the landlord and leasing agent to explore how the client’s growing team could seamlessly move into their future home at 55 Corinthian Drive. As a 5-Star Green Star designed building, 55 Corinthian Drive offered the ideal foundation for a modern, sustainable workspace.
Norling Law were looking for a space that felt welcoming for clients, sleek and contemporary in its aesthetic, and ultimately a place their team could call home. Our design direction focused on elevating the reception experience, creating a warm and functional staff kitchen, and delivering a standout Director’s office complete with a dedicated display for a signature whiskey collection.
The tenancy’s impressive natural light and sweeping views further shaped the design, helping us craft an environment that feels bright, refined, and uniquely Norling Law.

Project Highlight | Level 12, 57 Fort Street
Further elevating their CBD portfolio, astute landlords @terrafirmagroup engaged Edge to deliver another modern base build upgrade – this time at Level 12, 57 Fort Street, Auckland Central.
Our team developed a contemporary and inspiring concept design with the goal of attracting a high-quality tenant to the full floor tenancy. Off the back of Terra Firma’s other successful base build upgrades, the market interest in Level 12 grew quickly – securing the new occupant during the design phase.
Thanks to this early engagement, we had the opportunity to tweak the design and tailor the space to suit the tenant’s exact needs. These adjustments played a key role in helping Terra Firma secure the lease.
The overall design resulted in a workplace that uniquely embodies the new occupiers’ passion and ethos as an esteemed NZ natural skincare company.

Meet the Team 👋🏼 Vala Fu, Quantity Surveyor
Joining Edge in 2024, Vala is a seasoned quantity surveyor with over 10 years of experience helping commercial projects stay on budget and run smoothly. She’s all about precision, efficiency, and making sure every dollar is well spent without cutting corners on quality, safety, or compliance. She’s great at spotting smart ways to save money while keeping projects on track and up to standard.
Outside of work, Vala is a competitive badminton player, currently recovering from a knee injury that’s earned her a future date with surgery. With forced time off the court, she'll stay entertained with her other favourite hobby, computer gaming - something she is secretly exceptional at.
If she could have any superpower, she’d choose teleportation - so that she can play at all her favourite badminton courts across town (of course!) and never waste time in traffic. Her personal motto? “Life is too short, do the things that you like.” It’s a mindset she brings to both her career and her passions, always striving to make the most of every moment.

With two new Instant Finance branches recently completed in Christchurch, we are now hard at work on the new Panmure location, helping Instant Finance showcase their refreshed look and feel.
