The FFO stewardship program aims to revolutionise the commercial office furniture landscape by promoting reuse and recycling, diverting furniture from landfills and creating a more environmentally responsible approach to office furniture disposal. Along with the identity, we developed awareness-driving tools including templates and a bespoke website to accelerate and legitimise the scheme among stakeholders. Working alongside our dedicated #circulareconomy specialists, we helped bring to life product stewardship scheme Fit for Office across multiple channels. FFO's visual identity represents our scheme's adaptability to various applications, from digital communications to packaging. What started as a fun tradition, has now become a curation of music and art that sums up the past month. Our monthly playlist series gives us all a platform to share music and design with the outside world. It also gives us an opportunity to collaborate and play together as a studio, free from briefs or boundaries. We're looking forward to continuing with our little monthly tradition in 2023; regardless of whether anyone actually listens to them or not (link in bio if you do).

Last month, we were invited by @jmcacademy to talk to students as part of their ‘Design in Context’ class. We touched upon our individual creative practices and how it led us to be a part of Edge. We shared past projects, processes, experiences and learning curves that shaped and redefined our values of what it means to design for good in the context of sustainability. The Bushfire Resilient Homes Toolkit brand's simplicity and application made for consistent, direct messages across a range of channels. We helped develop tools and templates to accelerate the adoption of climate resilience and climate adaptive household upgrades across residents, councils and industry. These tools ranged from awareness driving campaign materials to guides that could help people facing a variety of impacts, and be ready for the ‘here and now’ through to ‘prepare and plan’ for the future.

The Bushfire Resilient Homes Toolkit features a series of interactive and practical guides for home owners, councils, and industry bodies to start making their communities more bushfire resilient. We gave the initiative a unique identity and built an extensive suite of assets to deliver toolkit into the hands of those who need it most.
