Today marks one month since the unexpected passing of my mother. She was one of the toughest people I have ever known. She was strong, resilient and always pushed forward no matter what life threw her way. Those who knew my mother knew that she was always down for shots of tequila, make breakfast at all hours of the night, and welcomed everyone into her home with open arms.
