Last Saturday, we shared the debut of the workshop of โIn Other Wordsโ, an original play written and performed by my dear friend Maya Shoham -
@mayafeba , whom I had the privilege of directing.
This is just the first step for this play to meet an audience. After a year of rewriting and negotiating ideas, we finally jumped into the water.
I had the privilege of accompanying Maya on this journey, reading all the drafts, tackling every idea, and most of all, witnessing her proudly create what I believe is an honest, generous, and truly one of a kind piece of art.
We were both so fortunate to be supported by our incredible creative team. Each and every one of these people contributed to our process daily, with such creativity, care, and open hearts. I love you all and am deeply thankful. and for the rest of you out there- Keep your eyes open! there is more to come, this is just the beginning. โจ
